I switched SCR on for the pens last night and when Mayo stepped up for the deciding penalty i actually had 100% faith in him, I knew he was not going to miss (I bet 90% of the travelling fans went oh shit not Mayo though).

Am I missing something here?

Has he just single-handedly ran Millwall ragged for 90 mins? Has he just pushed through the Falmer application? Has he saved children from a burning building? Has he just twatted Norman Baker?

Or did he just simply put away a penalty? Lets put this in perspective - the lottery of a single pen hardly puts to bed all the underlying problems with his overall game and makes him an Albion god! :lolol:

some people absolutely refuse to give the bloke a break.

Cast-iron four different HOME ground (hopefully) Albion legend. True professional and always been one of my favourite players. Don't forget he was once our joint top scorer too.

Kerry Mayo's little finger has as much bottle, application and professionalism as an entire Leon Knight. Although they are about the same size.

Well done, Kerry.

Played very well when he came on and scored the decisive penalty with a very well taken effort.

I aslo thought he came on and played really well. The neat passing triangles between him, cox and robinson are what kept us in the game. Before that we couldn't string two passes together.
