Keep GOSBTS but would much prefer if they stopped the music at the point of "And we're going up to win the cup..." and let the crowd sing the final lines. It would make quite an impact and just maybe encourage people who don't ordinarily sing to join in for once.

Sorry but there is no way we should do that. SOBTS ( not GOSBTS by the way ) is a fantastic world war 1 march for the troops, adopted as a Sussex 'anthem' by the Albion and SCCC. We should honour it for what it is rather than using words which are inappropriate and frankly pathetic.

It seems most people have no understanding of the history, our history.

Would you rather have 'Glad all over' or ' Mull of Kintyre'

Instead of getting rid of it, put it right before the players come out. When the players come out, everyone claps, so putting it before allows people to sing it. At all together now, that's when the players start walking out.
