You're not wrong about the jerseys. The rugby internationals brings out the worse in the Welsh, it turns usually sane, reasonable, friendly people into mad national extremists. I've lived here (Wales) for half of my life, and it never ceases to amaze me........and when Wales play England it is much, MUCH worse. The black armbands will be out tomorrow by the look of things.

It wasn't very nice in Scotland either, the rugby crowd in Edinburgh are amongst some of the most obnoxious twats I have ever met.

Couldn't agree more. There is a growing minority who are turning to football and deserting the egg-chasing altogether.

In fact, as a spectator sport, our 2 football clubs (soon to be 1 when Cardiff go bust ) have on average 2 or 3 times the crowds of the regional rugby sides.

Pathetic displays like the one being shown now will only make things a lot worse

An excellent performance by both teams in the separate halves.

Wales will be kicking themselves with those misplaced passes, poor kicking and losing that lineout at the try line.

The positives from this match is that the French are clearly not infallible. Although obviously we have to take them on in France (oh and beat the Oirish).

Just got back from the game. We were sat with a bunch of French who were cock-a-hoop at half-time. Great comeback from the Welsh, who really should have scored when they were two on one 10 minutes from the end. Some good banter with the French lads then.

I've not been to the Millennium Stadium with the roof closed before - what a tremendous noise it generates.

The French look beatable - they looked really rattled when the Welsh got into them.
