I was actually quite impressed with England on Saturday. for a side that is in transition, I thought the pack looked strong, teh backs were a bit static at times, but they were obviously working to orders and the defence looked very good.

Glad to see Hodgson back as I think, although not as strong as Wilkinson in the tackle, he is certainly a better positional kicker.

Wales did look strong and the Irish were a very poor at the breakdown and spend a lot of the game whinging to the ref. France looked very powerful and mobile, which is what you expect and the Italians ran the ball well, but were over ran in midfield.

Good start to the 6 nations.

Good summary. I do really fancy France to win it this year and, to be honest, they probably have the personnel that deserve to do so.
