Harsh on Lennon who actually delivered all of our best crosses last night (okay, there wasn't much competition). I still don't really understand why Capello chose to take Lennon off. He contributed far more than the likes of Lampard.

Because he's not one of the golden boys who are immune to substitution or dropping.

And no, Walcott wouldn't have made the slightest bit of difference. That said, he's got to be better than Shaun Wright-Phillips, which was just a bizarre decision by Capello.

Nope but not taking a left footer in Adam Johnson can be counted as a bit of f*** up I think

Nah, him, Wright-Phillips and Lennon are all the same style player - dash and run to the byline. But none of them can cross.

Spot on. If we had Walcott playing, and had left Lennon or SWP at home then the fans would be saying Capello got it wrong.

All the fans want is a change, the actual players themselves are irrelevant. We want what we haven't got/can't have

There's only one englishman who can cross a decent ball and he was sat on the bench last night and that was Mr Beckham. Walcott, Lennon, SWP ect are all the same player have the skill but cant cross to save there lives!

Would be great to know how we would have done in the last few games if we had Beckham fit, Owen fit, Hargreaves fit. Oh and Zamora fit
