Laughable the way supermarkets trial these ‘new’ concepts e.g. back in the noughties we saw the rise of home delivery (what, like groceries were made before the supermarket put milkman, fishmongers, butchers etc out of business who all ready did this) and now this (what, like I used to serve customers in the 80s...before the supermarkets put green grocers out of business!)

used to work in a scoop and weigh store in LA as a student....scoop what you wanted...nothing new..
I remember them up North when I was a student. We also have a VERY POSH ONE in Clapham Junction.

They do loose bee pollen and extra virgin Olive Oil "on tap".

There are still scoop & weigh shops around.

Morrison's provide paper bags for fruit & veg, and have been doing so for over a year.
