It seems it stripped a few people who's name’s didn’t match the electoral roll or photo ID didn’t match their appearance, shady more like
They peered for ages at my driving licence, which I only got six months ago. The photo is so small, with bits over it, I can't see how they can actually identify anyone from them.

Voter confusion possibly, i mean it’s confusing when your ID says one name and the electoral role says another, not to mention when you don’t look like the photo on your ID 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sounds like the complaints desk at the Council Hackney Carriage Office 🤣🤣🤣
Since those are reasons given by people for why they themselves were turned away, it'd be a bold move to tell whoever did the survey "Yeah it's an outrage, I tried to vote as somebody else and they said I couldn't because I'm not them.
"What do you mean you're calling the police?"

I assume most of them the photo's just old or a bit shit. I still have all my hair on my driving license photo, and before then it had a photo from when I was 14 until I was well into my 20s. Since I voted by post, I didn't have any obligation to demonstrate that I am, in fact, me.

Hope Labour scrap it entirely, voter suppression by the Tories that didn''t work.

Instead stripped 1m+ of their vote
Yes, the evil Tories' dastardly plan didn't work.....

Or maybe you and all the other tin foil hat brigade should accept that was just a nonsense theory in the first place, it has actually stopped some fraudulent voting and didn't affect the election result in any way at all.

The voter ID process in my polling station was farcical. I went in and a bloke at the first desk diligently checked my driving licence against my appearance to ensure it was mine. However, I then went to another desk (about 5m away) where a woman took my polling card and handed me my slip without any sort of cross check with the first bloke that the name on my license was the same as that on my polling card. Completely pointless process.

Did anyone else have a similar experience? I heard stories that some people were getting their IDs checked in the queue to get in the pollling station 🤦‍♂️

I got me passport out and the lady showed no interest. Might as well have shown a box of cornflakes.

I don't get the opposition to it. . . . Some of the lower grade acceptable ID's are about as worthy as my Dennis the Menace ( and Gnasher) fan club membership card. Which was deemed acceptable.

Luckily they didn't notice I had false tits on and was voting for MInnie the MInx
