Quite amusing that this time last year the resident racists on here were bigging up UKIP, convinced they were going to save the UK. Polls now suggest a very different story, Farage has been shown to be a bad loser and a whiny blamer of others. I'm curious - as a skilled worker, capable of debating without insulting, why *do* you feel let down?

TBH Simster i have stated many times the state of my industry and the affect (especially the Labour "working man" Party) has had.
I have given examples, explained about the training by the JIB (which we all contribute to) in Eastern Europe, guaranteeing them a job over here, where the cost of training is taken out of their wages. The so called "skilled" that come over, the affect on wages. Many many examples i have given over a period of time of the contempt that skilled workers are treated and seen as.
I really can not be bothered to post my views again as they were ignored before, except for those that have experienced the same.
This is why i have stated that as a working class skilled operative (who voted Labour in 1997, have never voted Tory) Labour have been far worse at looking after the "working" man, than the Tories. In short i'm sick to the back teeth of the main two swopping roles every few years, the majority moaning about them both......but still coming back for more.

How many immigrants being drafted in currently?
I know a guy here trying to get a visa for the UK, and its taking weeks, with no conclusion, and no end in sight. Its not as easy as people seem to imagine.
A lot of the immigrants are not particularly looking to travel to England anyway. Most going to Germany, Italy and France, but currently how many immigrants
are swamping the UK? There must be some credible links somewhere.

You could well be right, but the fact that over the years thousands have gathered in Calais would seem to dispute this??

They're saying the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Norway are their main destination. Labour are going to open the flood gates like they did in 97 if they gain power. Remember the Labour party sending coaches to France to bring them all over. I don't mind helping them out but we don't know who they are and as ISIS has said they're going to march on Rome.

Fancy them choosing these countries. This would seem to suggest that there is some method and calculation in their desire to leave.

Literally off the top of my head recently we have the one who declared on TV she has a problem with black people and their faces scare her, the one who called women sluts, referred to bongo bongo land, Farage himself admitted to "rinsing the taxpayer out of millions in Europe", didn't attend one of the meeting or votes for the 17 boards he belongs to yet claimed the pay, one of their MP's as well as claiming the highest ever amount in expenses by any MP ever was involved in the second homes scandal, one member referred publicly to LGBT and gay rights groups as "the old groups of poofters", another followed a protester and slapped him across the face while trespassing on their private hire space, Farage states he feels uncomfortable hearing different languages on public transport, Bill and Star Etheridge posing for photos with Goliwog dolls, Kerry Smith saying she wants to hunt poor people on a peasant hunt, she also refers to Chinese as Chinky, Silvester claims the recent floods were punishment for allowing gay marriage, they mistook Westminster Cathedral for a mosque, Farage stated breastfeeding mothers should sit in a corner, claimed he was late for a conference as there were too many immigrants on the motorway..... You've been in the lardy dar world of acting and entertainment so I'm sure you'll be thrilled to know Sir Tim Rice from your industry has in the past donated to UKIP.
