I love how Connolly gets 2 goals in the FA cup and everyone think he's a Premier League quality striker.
Nobody thinks he’s a PL quality striker.
He didn’t score in the FA cup.
Apart from that though, spot on!

I'm not sure it does tbh. In this instance it states man utd were the only interested party.I don’t know if this helps or not:
Man United 'most interested' in Vitinha's £34m release clause
The 22-year-old already has Premier League experience having spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Wolves and he is now linked with an England return in his native Portugal.www.dailymail.co.uk
Yes it is. I googled ‘how to buy out a contract in Portuguese football’ and this is what came up. Didn’t realise there was another one.Unless I'm being whooshed here, that's a different Vitinha
If he was a striker he'd be a non-scoring one.Unless I'm being whooshed here, that's a different Vitinha
That is the former Porto/ Wolves/ PSG midfielder Vitinha (Vitor Machado Ferreira).I'm not sure it does tbh. In this instance is states man utd were the only interested party.
I may have missed something but I can't see why there couldn't a scenerio where a number of clubs meet the release clause and another comes in with a higher offer.
Sorry, didn't realize it was a league fixture with all the FA cup action this weekend.Nobody thinks he’s a PL quality striker.
He didn’t score in the FA cup.

That would make one hell of a 5-a-side squad! Can you imagine a forward line of
Mitouma Connolly Vitinha Ferguson Welbeck Undav and March

Someone else could come in with a higher bid also meeting the buy out clause I guess?Up his price when he has a buyout clause?
There’s no incentive for anyone to offer a penny more than a buyout clause.Someone else could come in with a higher bid also meeting the buy out clause I guess?
If it’s like Spain (and this happened with us and Cucu I believe), the player simply deposits the fee with the club and he is free from his contract. The €30m Vitinha will pay would have been deposited into his account by Uncle Tone to pass on once the lad has signed for us. The selling club can’t stop this process. Braga simply can’t ask for more, it’s all up to the player (and his agents) once the buy-out has been triggered.Someone else could come in with a higher bid also meeting the buy out clause I guess?
Ok that explains it. Just seems a little odd to me.There’s no incentive for anyone to offer a penny more than a buyout clause.
The selling club is duty bound to accept - it comes down to which club the player wishes to join if mutuale bids have been received.
Was seen walking around without crutches at the development team game earlier apparentlyClub have been v tight lipped about Ferguson scan today…
Could also be Enzo Fernandez on his way to Chelsea, or some club official on their way back from sorting that deal. There is a private jet that departed Braga earlier headed for UK, currently over the south coast. Could be heading to Biggin Hill
EDIT: nevermind flew straight over London. Unless he sky dived from 40,000 feet
2nd EDIT: Biggin Hill closed at 11, flight landed at Luton. Could be Vitinha...

More likely a move for a long term target after Trossard’s departure. Knee jerk transfers whine wildly out of character. Is this a knee jerk reaction after the Evan Ferguson tackle on Sunday.
He was at a ceremony for his club tonight so doubt he was on any plane. There is a private jet that departed Braga earlier headed for UK, currently over the south coast. Could be heading to Biggin Hill
