Virtual Casino - CHEATING BASTARDS

I won some money over the weekend so I was looking through the bet365 site to see if there was anything I could have a little flutter on.

I came across their Casino site, so I thought I'd have a look. Transferred £20 across, and started playing Roulette.

My plan was to bet £1 on, say, red. If it won, great. If it lost, I'd then bet £2 on red the next turn, then £4 and so on. When I do eventually win, I'll get all my money back, plus £1 winnings.

So I go about doing this and amazingly reach over £100.

It is then that things start to take a turn for the worse. The FIXED 'random' game then decided enough is enough and churns out this:

11 Reds in a row? f***ing joke.

Maybe you should complain to the Albion board?...

Why didn't you bet on red? That's what I'd have done.

Standard Online Casino ploy, quit at the first big win.

Then leave. Never go back.

Yes. I'm so stuupid. :(

I was so annoyed that I sent an email to them basically stating that it's not random and accusing them of CHEATING.

I got this response:

Dear Sir,

With regards to your e-mail, please be advised that the games at casino365 are based on genuine random numbers. Various computer programs are able to generate pseudo-random numbers. However, our games are played with true random numbers, generated by a radiation monitor. The Geiger-Muller Tube Detector utilizes the unpredictability of background radiation to generate random numbers.

In addition, please note that the casino is fully registered and licensed by government decree issued by the Deputy Governor of the Netherlands Antilles to Boss Media. Our casino has signed an agreement with the worlds largest and most respected auditing company, PricewaterhouseCoopers. PWC reviews the monthly payout ratio (that is, player winnings to wagered amounts). After each review, PricewaterhouseCoopers issues a report stating the previous month's payout ratio.

That, sir, is BOLLOCKS.

Interestingly number 30 came out 3 times in 6 goes. Not that random then

You say that; A certain NSCer put his first chip on red23 (the only chip he placed on the table), and won. He left in there for the second spin. He won again. One bloody chip turned into $75 Dollars ... :censored:

It's a tricky one this...

Most of these on-line casino games are public games. That is to say each spin is available to whoever is playing at the time - not just you.

Each spin has a game number and a published result.

That said, I've experienced the same as you and chased a similar streak on Bluesq.com's Lucky Squares.

Didn't prove very lucky to me - I lost £700 in less than an hour...

I've seen 15 reds on the bounce in a REAL casino in Melbourne. I found it quite amusing, but the Oriental Lady to my right, having lost over AU$2000.00 chasing blacks, didn't share my sentiments.

The only thing better that winning in a casino is watching someone losing BIG TIME! Not entirely sure why?

Go on. Tell everyone what you did next....

I went to bed feeling a little gutted.

Probably declared I'm never betting again.

(As I type this I observe that 'Runner Bean' is a faller in the 15:00 at Huntingdon. I had £50 on it, as I'm chasing a losing afternoon. Bugger)

Wasn't it on this particular occasion where you fired off an email, pretending to be a magazine columnist writing an article entitled "onling gaming - Fixed or Fair", or something along those lines? ???

I have been to a number 'Ahhhheemmm' of Casinos and played mainly Black Jake and Roullette. What you have said in not un-common, which is why most people don't bet on the low payout options. Also most casinos have a minimum bet on 2/1 and 3/1 options, set much higher than a single chip.

There are no ways to win at any of these games, just minimise your chances of losing and hoping for a 'lucky streak'.

The HOUSE ALWAYS WINS in the end.

I was about to pipe up about how it is impossible to generate a true random number from a computer when you hit me with this;

However, our games are played with true random numbers, generated by a radiation monitor.

impressive!
