Virgo out to impress From The Argus)

Former Albion skipper Adam Virgo could go up against his old club in the new season.

Virgo, who was not offered a new contract by the Seagulls, is training with their League One rivals Yeovil with a view to earning a deal.

Nathan Jones, who played alongside Virgo in Albion's successful play-off side six years ago, is assistant boss at Yeovil.

The Glovers visit Withdean in October.

Good luck to him .

Yeovil could suit him, big fish in a small pond.

Good luck to him. Bet he's having to take a massive paycut wherever he ends up

He may end up signing for someone else but this has made me laugh after many on here were sure he'd go to Southampton or Norwich :lolol:

Well l seriously think he would be good enough for either Southampton or Norwich . . . at his best that is.

The sort of player who makes me angry tho, superb one game, shite the next.

Good enough for Norwich? Why do you think we got rid of him? Coz he's not good enough.

Correct.

Adam Virgo has completed his £1.5m transfer from Brighton to Celtic but will not be fit for about a month.

Back to reality for Mr Virgo.

At least the green and white of Yeovil will remind him of his Celtic days!
