Only saw the incident from the top of South Stand, did he have a good case for appeal?
Need to wrap Elphick & El-Abd in cotton wool for the next few weeks then.

El-Abd is the only player we can rely on (unless he gets injured/picks up a red).
Ephick is on 9 yellows.
Hinshelwood in injured.

Irregards of whether certain factions like Virgs or not, this just shows what an incredible amount of contempt the FA have for such issues. Even if it WAS frivolous (which IMO it wasn't) how can they justify punishing our first appeal of such a decision in years in this manner? It's disgraceful and the club should pursue it further...

I really didnt see why we appealed it in the first place. Looking at the replays it was hard to tell whos fault it was. We simply wasted the FA time hence the increase ban. Clubs can not simply appeal every red card they get.

I guess I can understand the appeal being turned down, but to call it frivolous and increase the ban is utter rubbish.

Thing is we DON'T appeal every red card we get. For some reason this has made me so angry as I reckon it's just wrong... even if there was some doubt, he doesn't deserve to have an extra game added on due to the FA cowardly calling it frivolous. It's because they couldn't be arsed to properly hear the appeal probably...
