Possibly mentioned in another thread somewhere.. but just wondered how many people noticed Virgo chundering in the centre circle at the start of the second half? He was belting out the chunks like a Saturday night drunk after a dodgy chilli kebab..

Good performance in the circumstances. Top man.

I did have a cheeky chuckle when I heard this for a simple reason, which may not be connected id like to add.

I went out on saturday night and at approximately 10.30 pm In the lanes I came accross a very smartly dressed Adam Virgo....who I asked with a dejected look on my face..."How you feeling Adam"? To which a reply from Adam with a broad smile on his face of " Gutted".........

Maybe he went on a bender or was just meeting pals, but at the end of the day hes only human and put a shift in.

It'd be a hell of a hangover to be still affecting him by Monday afternoon! Wasn't suggesting he'd been on the piss... just that he was obviously ill.

Well if he had lets say a curry and got on it bigtime, had the shits all day sunday its possible.

This isnt a legal case mate what you were or were not suggesting isnt all that important.

I think its unlikely too, but It still doesnt look too proffessional/good preperation to be out on a sat night when you have a game less than 48 hours on.

I do hope they put sawdust on the pitch, in true primary school fashion.

Just a thought, if he'd held on to it a bit longer, and just when a Colchester player was about to shoot, he honked all over him and completely put him off his shot, would it have been a foul?

Yeah imagine slide tackling someone through that

I had the exact same thought and mentioned this to a mate. He pointed out the quickest way to clean it up would be to send his dog on as he will eat anything. Nice.

Surely the misdemeanour has to be intentional for it to be a pen?

If a player unintentionally trips an opposition player without touching the ball, is that not a foul?
