That goes for me to in Haywards Heath. Why is cable not available in HH is it the Southdowns that are the problem.

They have to dig up every road and lay cables, probably not viable as most of the houses there that have sky already wouldn't be changing for the sake of saving a tenner a month.

Same here, supposedly. But a 56K modem would be faster, sometimes. All this fibre optic bollocks is crap.

Now I have the complete opposite experience Sky broadband was complete w&nk compared to Virgin Broadband and I'm on 10mb. Having had both I am firmly in the Virgin camp, but I think location is an important factor .

Sky is great, the amount of HD content is excellent, also by the end of the year Sky+ Anytime will be available as a upgrade to Sky Anytime with more On Demand content.
You can also now get a 1TB Sky+ HD box that will record upto 240hrs of HD content. Only problem is when it rains. :facepalm:
