There was a report last week that NTL customers and now Virgin are to lose the Sky sports and sky channels because of a dispute over what Virgin is wanting to pay sky.

has this been sorted out, because I pay a hell of a lot anyway and if they are going to start effing about, they can have it back!!!

I have that minus the phone, works a treat reliably get over 8.7Mb for the net ..

And DTG spot on, I don't think they can afford to lose the sky channels, everyone will be off ..

We are probably moving soon. If we move to a cabled area is it worth going for Virgin Media, rather than Sky, BT, and an internet provider?

Has the customer services improved since the name change? Or is it just a name change? And finally is the broadband reliable?

We got Virgin Broadband last week. It tok 3 days for me to work out why I couldn't send or receive emails. I went through all the online help & found out by accdent that Virgin had given me an email address without a . in the middle!

We've also just ordered the V+ service to add to our ordinary NTL set top box. I'm not banking on them confirming our order in the 72 hours they say they will. We had to chase them for the broadband installation too.

And, they don't know the difference between It's & Its on their website:ohmy:
