Virgin Media Volume?

My volume on Virgin Media is refusing to be turned down via the remote, which is a pain in the arse as the remote for the tv is broken so it means having to stand up and walk across the room everytime an advert comes on?

It's yellow lights are going up and down but volume stays the same.

Has anyone got a solution to my problem? (I have tried unplugging it and turning it off then back on again )

you need to enter the code for your Tv on the set up page..

In the Home menu press...

* 9 Help & info
* 8 Help with your remote
* Find the TV make you are looking for

Entering the code

* Press and hold Vol + and the Mute button for 3 or 4 seconds until the yellow light flashes
* Enter the four digit code
* The light will flash and the volume up and down should then work, if not try the next code
