seen him play a few times, and rarely does he cause league 1 defences a problem. So he's really not what we need if we have championship ambitions.

Understand pericard is a free agent from next Monday
haven't seen him play but guess if he could take the traditional target man role he would be worth having for Murray/Dickinson or Forster to play off

would still be very surprised if we don't have at least 1 and possibly 2 new signings (incl Hoyte?) by Thursday lunchtime

Not sure if it has been posted but Vale are in talks with Hart and Livermore.

would be a good move for both of them, and we wouldn't be at a loss...Harty is a legend and helped save us last year, but I think that was his last contribution...

But Hart saved us under Slade's tutelage, not on Micky's watch. Seems odd to me that Micky would want him but fair enough, it might just be time to wave goodbye to OGH

Fraser was one of Wilkins boys, not in favour under Adams...then Micky goes and makes him captain.....nothing makes sense to me with that man. They can have Hawkins and McLeod too!

"We recognised that we were bringing him away from the south of the country, and the personal connections that he has down there, and we think that has played a big part in the final decision that he has made."

Interesting.

Interesting.

You are aware that Pericard's former club SOUTHampton, is also in the SOUTH?

I personally think that signing Pericard on a free would be a good bit of business. We could do with a target man... Dickinson is a good player but not physical enough to play the role, and Forster, Murray, Davies, OGH are not target men by any stretch of the imagination.

Is your good reason courtesy of Sky Sports telling us that Marcos Painter is poised to sign from Swansea?

Honestly, NO. I was told last week by .... who he thought we would be signing, had no clue that was on there and didn't even know who Marcos Painter was until reading NSC.

Good signing anyway, let's hope we can get Pericard now.
