I've heard he stormed back to Argentina after a row with Gus and is after a transfer.

Either that or he's not been picked.

Same as many of them ... don't see how they get a look in until our fate's sealed. Unfortunately it's progress

I was thinking just this at the match on Saturday. Amazing how fast things have evolved for us when a player of his quality is not even close to a place on the bench.

I think he should get a place on the bench. He can play pretty much anywhere.

I was thinking of a few other players too whom were major players up until recently whom aren't getting in the game day action any more.

Can Sparrow not get a sniff after his red card v Leicester, he was playing really well up to then and how is Gary Dicker's injury coming along?

Is Gary our only injured player at the moment, excluding Elphick???? How close is Tommy to playing again too?

I've seen him alot this season and I don't think he was much cop to be honest and he looked really poor against Wrexham saying that his goal against Coventry was pretty good. He is useful to have around though. His versatility could be the reason he isn't in the squad because we have a lot of fit players in pretty much all positions

He earned himself a 3 match ban and let his team mates down through petulance and Gus has obviously punished him for it, or we squad unbeaten in 2012 so gus does not need him at the moment.

Worth having on the bench IMO because of his versatility.

Both Gary and Tommy are back running I believe and both could be fit before the end of the season. Painter is the other injured player but I understand he is back training with the squad this week.
Vincelot is competing with Calderon now to be the utility defender on the bench (remember Calde has played centre back this season too).
Greer is a nailed-on starter with elAbd and Dunk competing to play alongside him.
Bridcutt will start as long as he is fit with Navarro also playing unless we go for a more aggressive set-up
Harley and JFC are possibly on a par behind Sparrow who in turn is behind Razak for a central midfield spot.
Vicente is probably competing on a par with Sparrow but is behind Assulin for a wide midfield berth. KLL and Noone will compete with Buckley for a starting place or a place on the bench in rotation.
Up front it is a matter of perm two from three with CMS, Barnes and Vokes and Agdestein is not too far behind. Barnes will only be sacrificed for a more aggressive pairing if Gus is happy that our midfield and defence can manage without additional cover.

Is it an embarrasment of riches or is it strength in depth? Certainly not a bad problem to have and Gus doesn't seem to be coping too badly at the moment.

Think Vincelot is paying the price for being sent off and then having a poor game on his return against Wrexham.

Really is a case of taking your chance when you can at the moment or you won't get a run in the side. Sparrow might well be a victim of his sending off and Harley well god knows

Looks like a duff pick for kit sponsorship this season (£800 sheets as well).

Thought at one point he was going to be integral utility player.

Show's how we've moved on in terms of quality in depth.

I'm not surprised he hasn't featured recently. We now have better defenders (Calderon, Dunk) and central midfielders (JFC, Sparrow) available who haven't made the first XI in the last couple of games. Useful player to have in the squad though.

Pretty well sumed up, although I would suggest Vicente is ahead of everyone if properly fit and the opposition are right........ it will happen one day!!
