as you come of the m6, head towards villa park, go along the main road and you will be told to fork right for villa park, as you turn off the main road you will see a pub on the corner that has free parking, its a ten min walk from the ground or you can follow the road round to the villa lesiure center which has parking for over 3000 cars, hope this helps, if you choose the pub get there early

Hi Andy, Don't worry, if my ticket doesn't come tomorrow then I'll be drinking at the Wolves - Palace game instead, is wolves far from Birmingham new street?
andy, is it worth parking up near Broad Street for pre match drinks and then getting train from BNS to Witton? If so, how long is it worth leaving it before getting the train?
Any pubs down the Bullring ?
No WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers ground is just round the corner from BIRMINGHAM New Street.
only been once to brum, went to a pub called the haggly duck massive place,is it still about
Broad Street at night is very busy and a bit of a chav fest. During the day its good for drinks as there are dozens of bars- some will not allow football colours. Brindley Place just off Broad Street has better bars/pubs. Alternativey the Arcadian has a more 'clubby' bar culture. From New Street station Broad Street is about a five minute walk. You can just jump in one of the many black cabs on Broad Street and head to Villa Park (probably around £6- so between 4 not a bad idea). Lots of away fans end up in the Newt before/after games- which is a large pub under the ramp outside New Street Station. Its an ok pub, often too crowded and just functional really. There are a few nice bars around the business/cathedral area.
So nothing's changed from the few times I've stayed in Brum. Broad St is fine during the day, but at night it's still a meat market.
Just to let you know that aston villa fc opperate a policy of not allowing supporters into the ground who in their opinion have been over the top on the beer, the stewards are very apt at refusing addmission to pissed up home and away fans, good result for you lads yesterday at dingle down farm, well done
thats the place, had a great nite that night, fanny everywhereDo you mean the Duck on Hagley Road? If so it was last time I was in that part of town. An interesting area with a number of hotels, ok pubs, street prostitutes and dodgy hostels.
helter, villa have now moved this games tickets sales from a general sale to a booking history sale, this normally means they have already nearly sold the game out
dont be so sure helter, villa stewards are a miserable bunch of twats
