Villa Disrespect

Must say that all the Villa fans that we talked to and met today were great and friendly and the stewards. However, thought that their ground announcer was extremely rude as he only announced Aston Villa as they came out for both halves. Also, at the start of the game they went right through their team and did not even bother to call out ours. It was as if we did not matter and weren't even there. Thought it totally disrespectful.

What the hell is all this shit about? Off the top of my head I remember them reading our team out at least TWICE. Get a life.

Perhaps you need a new head. Read it carefully. Did you also understand the bit about how they came out and how rude that was and I am sure that our team was not announced as it should have been just before the kick off.

They didn't announe ANY teams until about 2.45, after which they read ours TWICE. Who gives a shit whose was read nearest to the first touch of the ball?

I repeat. The point I am also making is how they failed to announce us. Surely I am entitled to ask if anyone else noticed without being told to get a life?

yes you are right. not the mentioning of team sheet but rather the actual teams running out on the pitch both at the start and after half time. A small point but I also thought it somewhat disrespectful.

Must admit I did think it a bit odd that the announcement as the teams came out for goth halves was something like "Please welcome Astion Villaaaaaaa" and no mention of "and Brighton and Hove Albion."

I did hear our team read out twice though.

our announcer never welcomes the other team. he used to, but hasn't for a few seasons now.

poor show in my opinion..

Speaking of disrespect, I thought Ashley Young was pretty disrespectful today. Went down like he'd been shot on one occasion, then miraculously recovered once play had been called back. Also showed a complete lack of class when refusing Murray's offer of apology after a tussle near the end of the second half. Charming, was captain today too. Prick

I got in the ground about 10-15 minutes before kick-off, didn't have a scooby who our squad was. Had to make do with the screen for who was on the pitch and my phone to look up the subs. Felt like they (Villa) didn't care.

and that is the real ashley young for you. overhits a cross as he so often does and he'll go down clutching his ankle. of course, once he's gotten over the embarrassment of such a poor cross and the inevitable snapping at other villa players that comes with it for some reason that still perplexes me, he'll be running around absolutely fine again.

there was a point today where he was taken out but didn't receive a free kick for it. that's what you get when you gain a reputation in trying to con referees, ashley..

If anything he's showing respect by being as much of a cocky little git against us as he is against better opposition.

By the way, does Paul Samrah announce the other team when they come out at Withdean? (I genuinely don't know, I try to block it out)

Along with him you have another complete fairy/twat in Heskey, for a man who is built like a brick shithouse he constantly rolls around like he's been shot. Pity he wasn't playing today we might of beaten you as the guy is gash. Blackburn must be really shit to let him score. Mind you it was with him yet again falling over at the time and the ball hitting him.

Anyway cheers for your comments.
