We are taking more fans to Villa Park than we had at home to Charlton :nono:

Home Games, Brighton Fans

Leeds , 6761
Orient , 6363
Walsall , 6123
Oldham , 6072
MK Dons , 6047
Charlton , 5908
Colchester , 5698
Southend , 5693
Gillingham , 5588
Hartlepool , 5565
Wycombe , 5400
Stockport , 5131
Rushden , 3377
Wycombe , 3246

Of course we are. The appeal of attending matches at Withdean compared to going away to Villa Park....no contest !!!

My point exactly. Other than the odd person who has missed out and deserves to go (PROPERLY deserves to) we cannot really moan.

Our allocation is more than the average number of home fans at Withdean. That is like Man United getting 75,000 tickets for an away game.

Round the back, by the bins.
I know of people that were right near the front of the queue yesterday when the COCK UP occured and they stopped selling, those at the front of the queue had their details taken and were told they would be first in line if any were left so if they've sold to people in the shop this morning without sticking to their word with the people whose details they took yesterday then that's a bit wrong... I hope they haven't stitched those up from yesterday!

I believe the cock up was that they couldn't get the information off the web site about how many tickets were left. They stopped selling just in case they had oversold. Obviously this was not the case if they continued selling this morning.

In my defence, I was left unsupervised.

Surely it's merely par for the course. We haven't played there for ages. Burton took 12,000 to Man Utd for a 3rd round replay match a few years back. Doesn't mean anything really.

What would be impressive is for Withdean to be sold out for every game, despite a shit team, shit facilities and shit ticketing arrangements for the 11th successive year. Which it isn't.
Indeed. You could even argue that it's actually an inverse relationship: the bigger the club the less excited they'd be about a fourth round FA Cup tie away at Aston Villa and the less fans they'd take.

So it should be - cannot believe people were doubting wether or not those 6400 tickets would sell out. Saturday 3pm, 4th round of FA Cup, so so easy to get too, haven't played at Villa Park since at least the 80's?

Should be goooooooooood.

But not over the counter!
