Agreed. He was the linchpin for the whole dynastic story line. I still watch it, but with less of a sense of what is going on anymore or even particularly caring.
Like most of these epic multi series shows it does lose its way in the latter couple of series but generally a good watch and I will still watch the last 10 episodes.
I'm just finishing series three and its fantastic.
I'm already interested in Norse mythology and they have done a good job of recreating their culture.
Seems to have a good balance of character development, politics and battles but I would prefer a bit more fighting if I'm honest but it's not really a complaint as the fights are worth waiting for.
And also Lagarta is quite possibly the most beautiful and amazing woman to have appeared on tv.
