I can't get past the idea that Admiral Stannis Baratheon knows more than he is letting on.

Watchable but it’s getting a bit silly now

So many holes in the story line. For example, being chased down and picked up by MI5, taken to a room for an interview and within a minute of the interview starting the detective has turned the tables and is interviewing MI5

A small woman chasing down, catching and over powering a big Russian spy, as if

We are really enjoying it, and I don’t know enough about the workings of international intelligence, police work, the navy or submarines to be offended by any gaps in the story line. Happy to accept poetic license, and tying it up with the idea of Brechtian Verfremdungstechnik - perhaps using it as a reminder that this IS fiction, so don’t get too carried away with it. I think I would be scared sh1tless if I thought this was really going on.

The programme that really gets me for daft story-lines is Silent Witness, especially the most recent double episode. Can’t help thinking that these forensic people should be kept in their box….. and it seems to me to be very badly acted, too. Way over the top.

West is BEST
Forgot it was on and I’m not in any rush to catch up. Too many twists and turns instead of decent narrative and storyline.
Suranne Jones’ permanently pained face gets on my tits too. Is that the only expression she can manage? She does it in everything.

Dreadful series. Started off ok but has tailed off badly. Last nights start was ridiculous and fortunately I fell asleep halfway through.

I am glad it is just not me.

I actually think this has really dropped off from the initial two opening episodes.

Hanging it out too much.

Just get on with it!

It’s crap isn’t it, I can only assume they didn’t have a military advisory on the production, I can only hope ITV’s Sub drama learns from this bullshit.
