I moved from WU to the North a couple of seasons ago. Although the view is amazing I found it to be frustrating to watch from up there. You can see passes that are on which the players naturally can't!

Having sat in most places I think the view from the East Upper is the best as long as the sun isn't shining. The NW Shelf is also great but the food and beer options are poor.

When you say beer, is there any at all served up there? I’m hoping so!

I think they have a bitter pump from memory, no lager or cider. You have access to walk down to west lower though.

Of course there’s beer. There always seem to be a couple of people just pulling pints for all the servers. Harvey’s by the bucketload - or rather barrel.

The NW shelf is primarily served by the small kiosk behind N1A, which does not have beer. From there, however, there is easy access to both the North and West stand main concourses, where beer is in plentiful supply.

We have a brief look before the Brentford match (via our current west stand lower seats) but didn’t take notice at the time whether beer was sold in the NW1 upper kiosk or the second kiosk at NW2 level.

We did pick up pre match food from NW2 which was a lot quicker than WSL!

On the halfway line only a few seats back from the Sky tv monitors and totally love my view. As people have said previously it's a great TV style view where you can see play at both ends easily and you really appreciate our pattern of play and team and individual movement. The atmosphere may not be the North Stand but is not a morgue by any stretch.

The only real downside is the getting up the stairs if you have any health issues or just a bit unfit like myself. Sausages rolls and Morretti would also be nice!

I'm in block F in WSU and there's a decent amount of singing going on ... often started by someone further back from me ... not just waiting to join in one of the 3 different songs being sung in the NS

Another block F'er here. Brilliant view and wouldn't sit anywhere else. I've tried lower down and angles for cup games and it just doesn't work for me. Our style of play now particularly lends itself to a panoramic view. Atmosphere is probably the next best from the NS having sat in most areas, although obviously not so consistent.

Good choice! I've been in back row* of W3H since the Amex opened.

Great view of the whole pitch. Appreciate our passing, movement and tactics so much more than what you see from pitch level/lower tier.

*originally five of us in Row S, with three empty seats behind that weren't sold. Now 3 of us in our own private Row T.

W3D about seven rows from the back. Doesn't look so far away in reality, phone camera is wide angle. I've sat in a few Amex seats and WSU is best combo for me for view of the game, not being roasted by the sun, and atmosphere. Love it.

If you like tactics and a television view then it's great. I'm at the back of G and there's also a very good atmosphere up there with a lot of old Goldstone and Withdean faces and some younger lads trying to make some noise. It's not quite the NSK but if we're playing well it's noisy.

We only got the back of WSU because it was the only place I could move to with adult mates and we could take all our kids. When they were first going mine was 8 and was very well looked after by the old boys around us. Now he's 16, trying to lead some songs and has an unfortunate tendency to say "for f**ks sake ref".

The players don't feel small and you can see both goals with great sightlines and the runs of players and how a particular player is going by focussing on them and it's perfect for being "right" about offside.

You do need an oxygen mask to get up there though. I break up the two climbs with at least three pints of Harvey's and a burger
