Off to Vienna end of next month.

Any tips on what to do and where to go? Beer tips
always welcome as well

We were lucky to see Rapid Vienna play when we were there in a cup game, marvellous scenes.

The castle is very good as was the viewing tower

Coffee houses are popular.

Also you can't go to Vienna without tasting a concert of some sort - if opera is your thing or an orchestral concert.

You could have a nice ride on a Gondola.

[Behind Enemy Lines]

You must go to the Naschmarkt for breakfast and / or lunch. A huge food market with great cafes. Had a superb brunch there.
Also try Yppenplatz, about a 15 minute tube ride from the centre, the old Jewish area. It has some good bars and restaurants.
