Mark Lawrenson played twice for Eire against England in Euros qualifying whilst a Brighton player. 25/10/78 in Dublin was a 1-1 draw, and Englnad won 2-0 at Wembley in front of 90,000 on 6th Feb 1980. The full Irish team for the Wembley game was:
