I remember that night well - I was...erm, off 'sick' from work & stayed well up the back of the stand so as not to get clocked on camera.

Also, this is the game where Kitson flounced at the end, refusing to acknowledge the Brighton Fans.

Forgot about that. Reading Fans were whining for an age afterwards because the forth official was from.....Brighton!

Also the game where BZ nearly took the head off a ball boy when throwing a ball off the pitch.

I remember driving back and the bitter Reading radio reporters calling us Zamora and Hove Albion. They also claimed that the ballboy's favourite player was Zamora until that incident.

That free kick was amazing by Zamora and Brooker. Really enjoyed that season. Coppell had us playing some excellent football. Just a shame our start to the season was so poor and Zamora go injured for 3 months. Still was great to take it to the last game at Grimsby needing a miracle to stay up. Least I got to see Zamora's last goal for the Albion up there.

I was at that game, and it gave us hope that we were going to stay up. Kitson had been taking the mickey all season with his injuries and made Vicente look positively fit . It was good to watch it again, knowing what we know now especially Nicky Forster going on to play for us 5 years later.

Coppell Sidwell Ingarmarson Brooker all involved in that game (3 on our side) - that's where Readin did their scouting. No, i've still not forgiven them.

Such a shame we went down with that team and manager. We were playing some seriously good football after new year that season and it was only the ten consecutive defeats under Hinshelwood that took us down.

Would be an interest contest between this side and the current side.
