West is BEST
These police officers, appear to be breaking the law themselves. They are violently attacking a man without any cause, having invaded the sanctuary of his own home, dragged him out and beaten him. People on this thread are offended by a comment wishing death on them. The person who made that comment has been banned.

What really is the difference between these people dragging a man from his home and putting a beating on him, and the burglar who was stabbed to death by a 78 year old man who in the other thread is having people gleefully exclaim he got what he deserved, that it was justice? Why aren't people as offended that some are taking pleasure in the idea of a burglar being killed as they are at a group of thugs ganging up to beat down a vulnerable man in his own garden?

Some people just blindly believe in all authority. Which is how the police get away with criminal behaviour like this. I wouldn't go as far as wishing they get stabbed but then again I wouldn't shed one tear for them if bad things happened to them.

One day you will realise how crass that comment is, you utter arse.

Very much agree but also surprised/disappointed this is your only comment on this major headline concerning your adopted city mate, when you have repeatedly started threads of late on very insignificant Blighty issues?

****ing police scum

In the second incident on that video, a criminal is badly beaten after being arrested, and the complaint against the police was dismissed. ****ing joke.

Just noticed this on my newsfeed... hopefully dismissal follows

Four Victoria Police officers have been suspended over two separate alleged brutality incidents caught on camera in the same Melbourne suburb.

Head of Professional Standards Command, Assistant Commissioner Luke Cornelius, took the action on Friday after CCTV footage of the incidents was made public earlier in the week.

Three officers have been suspended over a September 2017 incident in which a disability pensioner was pinned down, beaten with a baton, capsicum sprayed, then hosed down in his Preston front yard.

Another officer has been suspended over the treatment of a man who held up a Preston pharmacy in February 2016 and was kicked and stomped on while handcuffed.

People outraged by the videos have organised a rally at the Preston Town Hall at 11am on Saturday.

And a fifth officer has been reassigned over a third incident in Bendigo in March 2015, in which an arrested man was thrown into a metal door at the police station.

The suspensions and reassignment are interim actions while all incidents are investigated by the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission.
