She has nothing to offer the event, she is talentless and needs a big stage to get her career back on track.

It would be understandable if she could not do it, after all she is fairly heavily pregnant.

Perhaps a slightly larger cash donation could help.

Come off it Gunter, you're just mad as she doesn't have a big penis (although she is still married to Beckham).

So we are all on a Victoria Beckham love in.

This misconception that they do "a lot" of charity work is utter shite. They do very little in the overall scheme of things. They are extravigant, people who value material goods far more than anything else.

How could somebody like Victoria Beckham (last year) go to a poor African country, see the famine for herself first hand, watch kids as they scrabble around on rubbish dumps searching for scraps and starving with no clean water then come back and continue to splash out money on a £60,000 life-size model jeep for her kids Christmas present, hire a personal butler for EVERY SINGLE PERSON attending her kids christening (people like Elton John, Liz Hurley et al). In addition, she thinks nothing of spending £250,000 on designer shopping sprees.

The point I am trying to make is that if she was genuinely moved by this visit, why not show a little more humility in her behaviour.

They maintain their 'celebrity' profile and make their money from this sort of conspicuous consumption and self-promotion.

It's their job. You can't blame them for doing it, can you ?

What they give of their time, talents and money to people less fortunate than themselves is entirely between them and their maker.

If she had not married David, she would no longer be famous....end of. Limited talent and poor personality.

It's their money - if you think you have a moral obligation to give x amount, by all means do so - but what they, or anyone else chooses to give is up to them and no-one else.

Well Michael Schumacher has just gone up in my estimation. He has donated $10m to the appeal

It's true. Michael Schumacher had already gaving UNESCO 1.15 million Euros the year before. It is an amazing amount and I don't care how much he earns; it's one thing to be in a position to be able to donate that sort of money, another thing entirely actually to do so. Hats off to him.

Well said. All she cares about is herself. hope the bitch rots and that mis fit of a player off a husband die.

How much, precisely, have you contributed to the tsunami appeal?

No offence, but you don't exactly come across like a charitable type.
