I bet there are loads of people on this forum who know what is going on but who are keeping quiet about it. I have heard a rumour that sounded incredibly far fetched, but after thinking about it a bit more, kind of made sense.

Just to say a HUGE thanks to Vicente for his efforts in the community.
All the players visit schools in and around Brighton which is an amazing thing for a young child - to actually meet and chat to their heroes.
My kids' school has been allocated Calderon and Vicente for this season and Calderon has been absolutely amazing. The kids love him as do all the staff. He comes early, leaves late and has time for everyone, especially all the kids who absolutely love him.
On the other hand we have Vicente who hasn't bothered turning up once for the weekly visits all season. Not once.

I posted a thread on this topic a few weeks ago but no idea how to link it up here. Basically was informed by an Albion player who is a regular in my shop that Vicente was 6 weeks away from fitness, is lovely to have about the place and the problems arent in his head etc.

I'm curious what sort of injury can you be 6 weeks away from fitness Some players get over broken bones in that time, some however just roll from one thing to another. Six weeks is longer than a pre season for some, that's why a quoting a time frame like that sounds laughable...I still can't remember him even getting injured, seemed fine pre season and against Swindon!!!!!!!...Swindon ffs in the Carling Cup, anyone else still find that selection strange, in a game Gus couldn't give a toss about, 4 days before the season started proper

The thing is, after the Wayne Bridge Will Never Play For Us Again exclusive, no one really knows who knows what or who to believe anymore.
