Watching the OFFICIAL highlights of the Reading game on player, I notice the commentator is among those who pronounce Vicente with a big ol' CH in the middle.

So once and for all, is it ViCente or ViCHente?

He's Spanish, not Italian, therefore the V is a soft V, almost like a B, and the nearest English sound for the C is a soft
"th", as in "thick", not as in "the".

I am learning Latin American Spanish and they would say bissentay. I suspect euro Spanish is different. Gus adds to the confusion by mixing his continents. Maybe!
