i hope the comparison to both Cole and Giggs stretches to a player who is really better than simply playing on the wing and can operate in the middle of the park to spary the ball about

we've got wingers and anyone with a spanish cap is technically awesome. Think gus could well be thinking of making him a trequartista, bridcutt behind him will do some of his running and help keep him injury free.

Matthew Etherington? His game was all about pace and flying past full backs until a few injuries slowed him down and now he is trying to be a cleverer player. Obviously, Vicente has a much higher pedigree, but I think it might be about right.
