Elche watch. Top of Spanish Second Division 4 points clear with game in hand. He'll go there in the Jan window.

I have seen him at the club training in the gravity box thing they have whilst I was at a kids party, so I'm taking this with a pinch of salt

what's a gravity box? Sounds fun

I admit that this is not first hand, and I should add that I don't make it a habit to post idle speculation
Have heard that it is known at the Amex by more than just the management that Vicente's issue is not about being unfit.
It is about not wanting to play for the club
I truly hope that this is not true.....he is the most gifted player I have ever seen play in the 40+ years I have watched the Albion
However following all of the wrangling during the summer, might explain much
If true it begs the question, why haven't we been told the complete story?

Yeah im sure he was dead up for pre season playing non league opposition then getting injured at Swindon, all part of his master plan!

Very simple Bruno gave a very poor performance on Friday and if it continued I can see Gus dropping him and bringing Calderon back in.

I can see that happening, not sure what is up with Bruno at present

Vicente is running a tea shop in Chipping Sodbury with Lord Lucan. He does the front of house stuff while Lucan makes the clotted cream scones out the back out of sight.

i heard that he went to spain for a 10 day break and while he was there he was kidnapped and had two large pieces of alpaca fillet sown on in place of his feet...........this has understandably set him back a bit on his road to a return to the team....:moo:

Gossip makers: people who make up rumours without foundation or using their intuition , which is unreliable without having a close connection. And even in the know it might not be the truth.

Naylor seems to think we have seen the last of him ??? It might be like Bobby Smith I ???

At the moment it seems to be a tendon injury of the thigh which are unpredictable. It is no good him playing when he is not fully fit like Kitson. The trouble is that he does appear to be the missing link in our squad and the understudy Orlandi (I though Assulin might have filled the role) is just not nearly as good.

I would have thought that Vicente would have wanted to get back into football ASAP. Elche do not appear to need him.

That's not news.Anyone with half a brain cell knows, he doesn't want to be here.

HE WAS AT THE AMEX ON FRIDAY! If he didn't want to play for brighton why would he come and watch us? They don't have to?

If, as has been suggested, he doesn't want to play for us, surely he is experienced enough to realize that the best exit is to play and play well so that another club, possibly from Spain comes in for him in January or on loan now.

I heard that he seems physically fit, but he believes he is injured. Need a sports psychologist rather than a physio it would seem!

then why would he still be attending all our home games??? If he REALLY didn't want to be here he would just go back to Spain with a personal trainer no???
