Heard from a good source when reading go up mcdermot is going to make vicente his no1 target this summer

Zero chance. If Vicente wants to move, it won't be to Reading. Bigger and better clubs will be after him. My hunch is he will stay at least one more season if Gus clears the crap out of our club and gets quality in strength into the squad.

Cant see him being here next season.

As good as he is and he is clearly a class above. Does he actually work in our team. We seemed to be more solid and get better results without him. Also didnt seem to have this current problem of trying to fit wingers in.

Just a thought

Whether this is true or not i think we will be seeing a lot of these posts in the next few weeks. The only difference is the name of the team that will be substituted. I.e. for Reading read 'Wigan', 'Southampton', 'West Ham', 'Bolton', 'Aston Villa' etc. It will become quite tedious.

Couldn't blame him for going after today's shower of shit. He must have wondered what he was doing in our team.

I can assure you Vicente will be with us or go to Spain,he is really a one club loyal person. To be fair it's not nice to see a man of that quality play with shite like Navarro, dicker and painter etc.The man has had mental probs so needs certain people around him.

Just about any good thing we did against reading went through him. I will give up watching football when the day comes that we say a player of his stature can't play for us. Our results have been bad lately because we've played more quality teams in recent times.

would be great if he signed a contract extension with us just so if someone does want him in the summer we get some token £££'s for him. Seems fair for the effort the club invested in him to get him fit and playing again.

Agreed,Vicente is not seeking big paydays just to get back to being his best wih a clear head.I do laugh at these hideous rumours though:)

Then I'd hope he's injured for the whole season! Cocks!

Would he want to live in/near Reading?

True they've got some billionaire owner now though but he's no money chaser either.
