It's all smoke & mirrors, he'll be on bench simply because 6 other spaces can be used by those that Gus wants to actually bring on. It's illusions like this that take the club another week or two towards the end of the season rather than the club simply saying 'we've been naive & humiliated'

I assume therefore that you are suggesting Gus was outright LYING when he said that Vicente was going to come on for 30 mins in both the Wrexham and Saints game until injuries changed the plans?

Gus may be many things, but I don't think he's one to tell bare-faced lies to the fans like that.

I hope Gus does not risk him on the bench, its far to easy to get an injury from those comfy padded seats.
