It does say that a low-protein diet in middle age may be good at cutting your chances of cancer so if you're under 40 doubt there's much to worry about yet. Also it seems to suggest that it's based on the % of protein in the diet rather than the amount so not something people will find too difficult to amend. Seems like a sensible diet change to me anyway.

Agreed, but given the choice of a tarka dall or lamb pasanda. I'm afraid the pasanda is mains and the dall is sides.

Tarka should definitely be otter.

I once worked on a veggie farm in New Zealand run as part of the Steiner organisation, all very strange things planting cow horns in the full moon etc. to aid the crops. But I have to say the food they dished up was delish.

Can't comment about the farting flavour though.
