I do get it though. Even though being a veggie doesn't define me and many people I know wouldn't know I am - and why would they - in the running community on Instagram, I see a LOT of "Powered by plants" type bios. I just don't understand the need to mention it.

On the flip side I’ve been to many a parkrun in my Vegan Runners kit and heard plenty of snarky remarks and overheard people suggesting I would be slow and unfit  So I suppose the whole ‘powered by plants’ mantra is to combat the assumption that vegans can’t be strong, powerful and that a plant based diet is inadequate when it comes to being an athlete. It’s the whole reason ‘The Game Changers’ was made.

Good luck to anyone who chooses this kind of lifestyle, but I with homer on this one. I found it easier to give up smoking than I would giving up eating animals

Dairy is definitely the hardest part of choosing veganism, for me anyway, whereas binning off meat is the easy bit as there are enough decent alternatives, but milk chocolate, omelettes etc.

Oatly is one of the better milk substitutes imho.

When I gave up meat I really thought it would be a struggle, especially as I liked the occasional visit to the cafe.
I do like cheese, eggs, chocolate and milk.
I like milk in my tea especially when I’m working in someone’s house fixing their plumbing

The Tennessee Titans NFL team went vegan in 2017 and made the play-offs.
"My energy levels have gone up," the team’s leading tackler told AP. "And it's just putting in good fuel to your body. And of course, it's always hard to keep weight on this time of the season. But it's worth it for me staying on top of my health.

Something for vegetarians.

Seems to be a stunt, but an interesting idea.

Certainly an interesting idea to have an airline with no planes. Or anything other than a website that actually doesn't actually seem to do anything at all.
