Agreed. But you can't help the irony that VAR has been brought in to supposedly gets decisions right (albeit on the playing side) - maybe it should be used to help the refs with their time keeping too?

Another VAR decision about the goal giving Man City fans ages to wait for decision.

It’s probably been mentioned on here...but the VAR decisions for the WHU goal against Sheffield United was scandalous....how they thought that handball was deliberate defies logic.

BTW. 5-0 now....dunk should be watching this as Mings is having a mare...hopefully the england manager is also watching

The VAR kick off cheering is just a piss take - I’m sure they’re still celebrating every goal normally!

They didn't. As was quite highly publicised at the start of the season, and has come up several times over the first half of the season; any contact, deliberate or accidental, between the ball and the hand/arm of an attacking player in the reviewable period of a goal means the goal will be disallowed.

/QUOTE]

What's deliberate got to do with the price of fish?

Because it always used to be deliberate hand ball was a “ foul” but accidental was waived away...

Sea bass is £12.95 per 1 and 1/2 kilo at the fish kiosk on hove seafront

A player dives in to block a cross, hand is away from his body, ball hits hand, it’s a pen. He didn’t deliberately hand ball it, just the action of trying to block the shot/cross .... it’s still a blatant penalty tho. Deliberate handball as a law was just stupid, how many times does a player deliberately handle the ball? Mind you the way var is being implemented by the absolute ****tards we have at the moment is just ****ing embarrassing.

Liverpool may be long way ahead in league but City are outstanding to watch when on song. So many players available to receive ball
