any recommendations ? Need to hire a Luton van with a tail lift (to use for moving from Seven Dials). Hertz just around the corner but they quoted £95 and couldn't gurantee it's availability on the day, so pretty hopeless. anyone used: choice vehicle rentals; bvr; lee hire or delta vehicle hire ? ta

How soon is now?
Enterprise opposite the King Alfred, they're generally pretty good - and well priced too - they also collect and deliver for free. I wouldn't go near Choice Vans again, I rented one and it didn't even get me out of Brighton - as above the price reflects the quality

thanks for the info so far.

parkers are indeed excellent, have used them before but they're too far away on this occasion.

was thinking choices but need to take a washing machine to seaford sameday also, so maybe not !

enterprise unfortunately don't go as big as a luton (we need the tail lift) which is a shame as my mate could get a discount on them.

any more info gratefully received, nsc definately has it's (non albion) uses !

My son works for National Car/Van rental and even hired a medium wheel base LDV van on weds, Ofcourse he says they are the best!

If it is an Tail lift all you need then he says that you would be very lucky to get one before x-mas! for a large van as long as you dont mind an older one looking like a mess then Choice is the best bet for cheap, National & Europcar for the Good ones.

If you do settle for a big van then same as cars National Car rental always did discounts for Albion fans as they have been Friends of the Albion. Contact us and he will get you a price.
