RDZ has this agenda with the club that we didn't sign any ready made players in January and won't back down from this.

Which is why we are getting these silly comments about barco not being ready. At least he's playing him though and this talk will subside.
I want to think that you're wrong, but i'm not 100% sure that you are

Back to discussing Barco - I’m sold - Barco has shown me in 10 debut minutes that he is both physically strong and confident enough to cope with EPL. Given our injuries, I think it will be another case of a player breaking through and bedding in very quickly because the opportunity will be there. It seems he generates trust around him from his teammates too who were more than happy to involve him. Clearly a versatile player - reminds me a bit of Hinsh. He could be useful to help cover some minutes for Gilmour and Mitoma.
I agree with you. He's 100% ready.

He's one of those young players, that steps on the pitch and has a presence, like he owns the place. He found space, demanded the ball and made things happen. Contrast this with our two other young players, one starting, one from the bench. I wish them well and will support them. But no RDZ. They are the ones who aren't ready.

In fairness to RDZ, when Barco, came on, understanding our patterns of play was pretty irrelevant.
It was defence against attack and get it into the mixer time.
His first cross was sublime, but there was also a terrible corner and an over-hit cross that people are choosing to forget.

He did well and I'm sure RDZ will fast track him in with plenty more minutes.

RDZ couldn’t look any more disinterested as he did last night. He used to be up and down that touchline with the enthusiasm of Gary O’Neil now he just watches on with his hands in his pockets.

This, people have a tendency to get carried away in a week or two they will be selling him for £100m like Ferguson who is clearly suffering from the media hype that’s he’s being tracked by all the top clubs.
Ferguson has gone from a lad who was care free and loved his football to overthinking his game. You can see him frustrated every time he makes a mistake now it’s a real shame.

Where did I say RDZ wants out ?

I said RDZ has an agenda/bee in his bonnet with bloom and barber.
RDZ has an agenda/bee in his bonnet about everything - that’s what makes him so appreciated. He gives 100% and expects 100% in return, nothing wrong with that. What inside information are you privy to regarding his relationship with Bloom and Barber? I would suggest, like most of us, nothing but rumour and hearsay.

Newmarket.
Barco did his job last night and although he managed one decent cross which fortuitously landed on Welbeck's head, many on here are praising his crossing ability. Maybe he can cross a ball with pinpoint accuracy but I'll need to see more of him than just that one cross.
I thought he looked ok but didn't have much to do. He wasn't tested, and did seem a bit shell shocked, and not truly composed but that's to be expected. It'll come.
He did however put the physical effort in.
I'm sure we're all hoping to see more of him. I want to see how he goes before I have him as the next Ryan Giggs.

I don't know what's up with him or what's caused it but he's certainly not who he was.
The media speculation of bright lights and £ signs surely can't help.
You'd have to be a very strong teenager mentally to not let thoughts of money beyond your dreams into your mind..
I'd like the real Evan back please. For both of us.

I said yesterday ahead of the game that Barco needs to play and was shot down by people saying 'Oh but he needs to learn the system and our passing patters, blah. blah, blah..." As I said then, it's bollocks. He's more than ready.

Judged on what basis? All of them aren’t being given decent runs in the side?

Baleba granted is raw and untested, but we know what Moder and Ferguson are capable of. They need minutes. Ferguson is the future, Fati isn’t.
He does watch them daily in training to be fair

Pull your head out of the sand if you genuinely think everything is hunky dory between our boss and the club at the moment.
Oh ffs please give it a rest.

Your constant attempt to create negative narratives around our manager, our players and the club in general is based on nothing more than speculation and sports rags click bait rumours - it’s getting really tiresome.

We all know RDZ will move on at some point - he is one of the most sought after managers in Europe. We all know that Tony Bloom and Paul Barber have a sustainable development plan for the club that to date has been successful and does not involve bloating out the squad with players we can not afford to maintain just because of an unusually tough Premier League season for injuries. We also know that policy has not changed since RDZ agreed to come on board 18 months ago.

Please spread your constant negativity elsewhere because all it is doing is trying to undermine people’s support for the Club at a time when we really need to get behind the Club execs, the players and the manager while we face the next few months of the PL campaign and our first in Europe with an unusually high number of injuries this season.

Along with a few other clubs too … https://www.premierinjuries.com/injury-table.php

Backtracking?

Everyone has an agenda if you define agenda as hopes, dreams and aspirations. But most of us would understand an agenda as a specific goal to be achieved by hook or by crook. It has a pejorative flavour when used as you use it; agitating to achieve something that is in RDZ's perceived best interest and not necessarily the club's.

There is no evidence of that.

A real example is Poyet, inventing the concept of a glass ceiling to tout himself around to other clubs while making it seem that his ambitions and expectations were not being met by our little 'ole club. Meanwhile he was just a greedy egotistical ambitions twat, who ended up unemployable in the EPL after a series of lukewarm achievements that were not matched by an appropriate level of humility.

If you roll back your florid and hyperbolic take on things, I might be able to lower the eyebrow that has become tiresomely raised.

Out of interest do you think RDZs reps have had conversations about their client to bigger teams while he is still under contract with us? Or is this something journos are making up?

I believe RDZ cares about this club. But RDZ cares a lot more about RDZ than us. And I don't hate him for that.

As the potter man said , it is what it is.

This. Game plan, RDZ ball etc were out of the window by then. Dunk and JPVH were thrown up front. What we saw from Barco last night was exciting and promising, but it shows no real insight to how ready he is to start a game where his understanding of how we play, where he’s expected to be, what pass options would be on etc will be paramount.
