This is what the likes of Bloom and Barber have done for our reputation:

“Brighton have a huge reputation in Argentina and South America at large for being an excellent club to join, one who can open many avenues to a player if they perform as expected at the AMEX.

The Seagulls now have a rich tradition with Argentine talent including Alexis Mac Allister – who earned himself a move to Liverpool – and current Brighton midfielder Facundo Buonanotte.”

I’m pretty sure that if a player requests a transfer then they lose any loyalty bonus they are due ??? Triggering his release clause may mean the player loses out in this case. But who knows
The top part is absolutely correct but I don’t think it would particularly matter if he triggered the release clause. Loyalty bonuses are usually paid out throughout the contract on a pro-rata basis (yearly I think).

Transfer requests usually make the remainder of that bonus null and void so it is a gamble for a player to forfeit the remaining bonus in the hope that a transfer request will force an immediate move. If a move doesn’t happen and interest cools, the player will be considerably worse off.

If Barco’s release clause is triggered, it would be expected that he’d move so wouldn’t be eligible for the remaining bonus (in his final year anyway) on his current contract regardless.
