Don't know who's body they have stuck his head on for that picture

I'm 99% sure it's not Salma Hayek.

As much as I want to sign these players, the underlying factor is, regardless of skills, they're not going to be Premier League ready .
If Hinshelwood at 18 can come out of the u-23s and be Premier League ready, or Ferguson at 18… I could go on…. Then I am sure Barco who has been playing for one of the best teams (if not the best team) in South America can too…

Agreed.

Some hit the required level quicker than others. It took Enciso more than half a season but he’s played very few (if any) top level games against top opposition.

Barco has played in the Copa Libertadores final, arguably the highest level match in South American football. He surely won’t take much longer than Perv did to get up to speed.

So.... has he left (his old club) yet?

Where have you been Harry!? - you’ve missed all the excitement- not only did he leave Boca days ago but he has been playing with us now for several weeks,
scored half a dozen goals - helped us get 3 clean sheets in a row and voted MOTM twice - he was a real bargain at $10 M. and doing everything it says on the tin 🙂

We still don’t have a shirt though which is proving to be unusually elusive and a great source of frustration for some of our NSC friends.🤷🏻‍♂️

(Yes, he left Boca and is with the national U23 in Argentina - money in bank, medical done all it needs is his international transfer certificate to be sorted and he be eligible to play for us.)

Thanks for the update.

How's Starmer been doing in his first month of being PM?

Brilliant - we’re back in Europe, NHS has got up from its knees and been completely reformed, teachers have been given a 40% pay increase and Suella Braverman is serving 25 years at His Majesty’s Pleasure for insurrection. 🙂

Ready made premier league players are bloody expensive though.

We are not doing too badly with our policy though.

And 'The Magic Numbers' have come up with a new national anthem.
