I had to fight every judgemental urge in my body when I first saw his barnet, tramlines and diamond earing. I'm trying to be a better, more open minded man as I grow old. But brother, my dickhead-o-meter has been going off, big time.
It seems a lot of posters here harbour the same prejudices based on appearance. Not very Brighton. He’s a kid, doing what kids do. Would you make a similar comment if he was non-white? What about Joao Pedro's ever-changing hairstyles? Adingra? Enciso?

Quite a weird angle to take on what was clearly a jokey post friend. But, to answer your question honestly - yes, I judge the whole gang of millionaire shit haircutted fannies all the time, depending on whim, weather and result.

Tough to make a judgement on Barco saying he goes wandering and doesn't defend enough. He's featured for us in just 6 games!

Personally I think he needs another loan where he could play regularly and maybe we could look at that being in the UK at a Championship club?
I doubt he or his agents would want a championship club.

If he's following RDZ's tactics then we have a real problem!!!

I agree with you though - I've never seen Pervis push forward and then 'tuck in' before this season, it has to be coming from FH.
He's not the only one, I've noticed Hairydiver at Chelsea doing the same thing and Udogie at Spurs. Coaches tend to work from the same manuals and trends, they copy bits and pieces.
Have? RDZ (....quickly checks the Internet...) is no longer our manager.

A bizarre take to effectively accuse people of racism for having a gentle and humorous dig at the clothes and hairstyle of football player. It’s got nothing to do with the colour of his skin.

(Some might say appropriating another culture in style is a form of prejudice too but as you say it’s what ‘kids do’))

He's also most likely on a lot of money. Given we payed the release clause when we bought him there was no intermediary xfer fee collected by the agent so in order to accept something from Brighton, we may well have given him one of our top wages.

I'm guessing this is a key aspect complicating the situation.

We'll be paying all or part of his wages wherever he goes. If he (or his agent) thinks the Championship is beneath his dignity, then that could be a problem.

Sounds like a loan to Porto may still have been possible, but has been put on hold, at best, by the sacking of Vítor Bruno.

Benfica another possibility apparently.

This still seems somewhat farcical...

It seems bizarre that it seems we just won't have him back here, particularly given Estupinan's injury.

No evidence for this but could it be that when he was here he didnt enjoy living in England, didnt settle here, and so this reluctance to have him back here and perceived desperation to find him loans in Seville/Porto is at the players request. Just a guess really.

The Seagulls don’t want him either,

Well, that's not a good look. We seem to have screwed up this whole saga.

All you can take it to mean is that he had an attitude that stunk the place out and we want him as far away from here as possible.
I didn't interpret it like that. It seems to me that we want him to play and don't think he will here in the near future (if ever). He's not playing at Sevilla and won't here so we are looking for a club for him. It is odd that no one wants him but, as suggested in the article, this might be because we want an obligation to buy or something.

Looks like it

From Fab Ramano

Strasbourg are closing in on deal to sign Valentín Barco from Brighton, as @Santi_J_FM reports.

Deal discussed on loan with mandatory buy clause worth €10m package.

There’s sell-on clause worth more than 10% for future sale to #BHAFC. 🇦🇷
