Fair comment, but I can see why some fans do moan as we have signed development squad players in the past few seasons that haven't got anywhere near the first team.
Lad from Preston whose name I can't spell ( Jeffery ) ? is an example, he looked good in the You Tube videos and I thought he may have featured in a few matches by now, but was loaned out.

Hopefully Hambo will play in the first team in the near future, but I think these lads do need to at least be on the bench now and again.

I think this could be a very good signing. A month or two with the DS scoring a few goals then integration into the first team squad. He's big, athletic and on paper at least looks cut out for the English leagues. I know it's still one for the future but I'm still pleased with his addition.

Yes I want a regular first team striker, midfielder, winger, and 1 or maybe 2 centre backs (if Dunk goes) NOW but at least I do feel that some of these DS players will prove their worth within the next couple of years - handy bearing in mind the disappearance of the short term loan market in year or two.

Aren't you using exactly the same lack of knowledge to write him off before he's kicked a ball?

I don't think anyone's saying he's a world beater but there's not much point supporting a club if you can't be optimistic about a new signing.

Except Leon Best. I wouldn't be optimistic about Leon Best.

Thats bending the truth a bit. What was actually said was he as been compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The 20-year-old revealed how comparisons have been made between him and Sweden international striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, although he is quick to dismiss them.

He explained to seagulls.co.uk, “I’m a tall player, so people may think I am slow and cannot do much with the ball, but my technique is good and I’m pretty fast, so I hope that I can surprise a lot of people.
