Some lovely schadenfreude laughs from this and I must admit to watching some of these previously when both City and Liverpool put them to the sword. Wonderful that we got one too.

I've noticed that all of these fans have it in for the defence. Understandable when it looks so disorganised. However, their defenders are not bad players. They are just disorganised and continuously exposed by the complete lack of work done by their midfield and front players.

Goldbridge picked up on Rangnick's error in correctly taking off Elanga, but then replacing him with someone who was going to do even less defensive work. However, none of them picked up on the fact that Ronaldo stood up the pitch for most of the game waiting for the ball and never went looking for it when it didn't arrive. Had our midfield been under such pressure, you can guarantee that Welbeck or Maupay would have been dropping off and working their nuts off to help out.

Ronaldo could happily do nothing except score goals if he had a midfield four or five doing his work for him, but instead he has Fernandes who is a great creative player, but a lazy and very poor defender, and poor old Juan Mata. For some reason they seem to think that because they are Man United, they can come to an away game at a decent Premier League team and play four forwards and two in defensive midfield. Bissouma and Caicedo are already better than McTominay and Matic. That they allowed their two to go up against, not only those two, but McAllister, Trossard and Gross too was unbelievably arrogant. With Solly and Cucu joining in, we absolutely overran them in midfield and doubled up on the full backs. The pressure that this allowed us to put on a defence that lacks in confidence and leadership was bound to see the kind of mistakes that these vloggers are raging at.

City and Liverpool are both brimming with talent, but their isn't a single luxury player in either squad. United could field pretty much a whole front five, and if they did, on this evidence, their fans would still lay blame for all the goals they conceded at their poor abandoned and shellshocked defenders.

Good analysis. Despite all the pre-match stuff about how crap United are this season, I was still genuinely surprised by how REALLY crap they were. Elanga was completely woeful. McTominay does nothing but foul. Despite Fred being on the pitch in the second half (and therefore supposedly providing more cover for the defence), we walked the ball through them at will. Begrudgingly, I thought Maguire looked quite decent when he came on, and was a real threat at set pieces. Otherwise, it is difficult to imagine a more inept set of players. Good luck TenHaag!

.

Exactly this. Telles in particular had a hard time, because March and Groß passed it around him at will, whilst Bruno stood frowning on the halfway line.

And Dalot has been panned in a few reports I've read, but was one of their better performers - playing a part in keeping the score down to JUST four, with an excellent last ditch tackle to prevent MacAllister tapping in, and also really unlucky not to clear the fourth goal off the line, with a really committed acrobatic effort.

Finally got round to watching this while on my lunch break. Good to see #teamslikebrighton making an appearance more than once.
I don't get why so many people still underestimate us and act surprised when we turn them over. Granted, the style in which we did it this weekend was sensational, but it's not uncommon for us to get the better of the big boys.
Still under the radar apparently.

Serious (but might be a dumb) question: are these people actually like this in real life, or are they just putting it on for 'the likes'?

I mean, either way it's a bit weird/sad, but I'm really not sure...

Quite enjoy watching these, though my favourite is still the bloke in the Arsenal vlog.

Not sure if Utd fans are aware but we are actually in the same division as them and only 3 places below them. You'd think in their eyes we are a 2nd div side !!!!!! morons !!!!

Yep, good analysis Stato

The idea that United also got the king of the press in as temporary coach when they have such a lazy forward line that is so completely unsuited to pressing is also baffling. Rangnick is even less suitable than Oli Gunnar No Tactics. How on earth they got to 58 points in 36 games I have no idea at all.
