Well I think after this morning the only thing they'll be selling on is a giant ball of paper mache.amusing journalism. no one know's who owns the land apparently, or cant imagine how it got there unnoticed. but a min on google shows it's right next door to a "reclaimation" business and a dodgy looking "caravan park". hmmm. is it fly tipping if its stored while you try and sell it on?
the mountain of equipment dumped in the New Forest town of Calmore, bordering Testwood Lakes Nature Reserve and AFC Totton Football Club.amusing journalism. no one know's who owns the land apparently, or cant imagine how it got there unnoticed. but a min on google shows it's right next door to a "reclaimation" business and a dodgy looking "caravan park". hmmm. is it fly tipping if its stored while you try and sell it on?
This won't be the last slap to come out of the Covid response catastrophe. One final slap in the face to the tax payer

The local council seem pretty annoyed it is there, with direct quotes from them in the article.A lot of PPE has an expiray date, so it's highly likely that date has now been reached, so shouldn't be used / issued anymore
One of the main reasons why it couldn't be stockpiled in vast quantities, in advance of any potential pandemic
We had PPE purchased for previous pandemic scares, like swine flu, bird flu and SARS, but most of that will have been disposed of / destroyed before Covid struck due to those expiry dates
Is there anything saying it's also come from a public service, and not from, say a private company (maybe one who manufactured / sold PPE when global demand was at it's peak? or brought loads but found they no longer require it (especially as storage space will also be an issue, maybe it's from a company that has gone bust ?, etc....)
As with our modern society, so many quick to condemn, jump to conclusions without first trying to establish any facts first (trial by social media / public opinion, etc)
It’s Corbyns fault anyway. You can guess the government response: "No one wants to hear about this. Yes mistakes were made but the subject has been done to death. It's now a witch hunt, targetting people were just trying to do their best for Britain. Let's all just move on and concentrate on solving the real problems that the last Labour government caused."
Some good points but the reason that there is so much jumping to conclusion is that there was fraud and corruption in awarding PPE contracts and that has not been addressed and that is still in people's minds. Your response also ignores the point that this was illegally placed/dumped on a nature reserve which is pretty suspicious or would you not agree?A lot of PPE has an expiray date, so it's highly likely that date has now been reached, so shouldn't be used / issued anymore

I think they might be stretching the terms "fly-tipping" and "nature reserve" slightly for clicksHow many lorry loads is that! How long did that take and no one noticed it being dumped on a Nature reserve really?
It's less amusing than frustrating that the headline writers say this sort of stuff.amusing journalism. no one know's who owns the land apparently, or cant imagine how it got there unnoticed. but a min on google shows it's right next door to a "reclaimation" business and a dodgy looking "caravan park". hmmm. is it fly tipping if its stored while you try and sell it on?
