Why do you want a submerine, do you want to go down with some seamen?

I'll get my coat.

For $7M I can get you one, but the armaments come extra. What did you plan on doing with it? Not much use on it's own, you need a fully trained crew (nuke trained operators are expensive, but available, plus you would need three months minimum to work them up into any sort of valid unit, that's without sea trials, weapons trials, or any sort of opposed testing. You need a logistics chain as well, they break fairly often, plus the crew need feeding, etc.

Did you want it delivered? If so, you would need to stay in all day next Thursday to sign for it, as we cannot guarantee AM or PM delivery. In the event of you not being in, it will be held at the nearest Post Office for collection within 5 working days.

Subs are too claustrophobic, I'm more of a cuising speedboat person myself, something tasteful mind, such as a Riva Aquarama

7million? Hmmm, maybe a little out of my price range...

Although having a fully trained, crack crew would be cool, it's not strictly necessary for what I have planned. Same with the nukes, it'd certainly be nice to have as a deterrent in any cases of sea-rage but aren't essential.

How about one that's close to being scrapped. All I'm really after is the shell, so long as it floats I'm happy. Any idea's?

As for delivery, do you do overseas...

If you purchase from the Defence Disposal Organisation, you can arrange delivery worldwide.

As for living on a sub, you might want to think again, unless you have a lot of funds for external cleans and repairs, treatment, cathodic protection to keep shite off the hull, and you are willing to follow a strict routine of checking seals for leakage.

Are you planning to run a sewage treatment plant, or run it to shoreside via pipes for collection? Lots of maritime laws to consider as well.

Buy a caravan, cheaper, easier to maintain, but makes you subject to the occasional shout of "pikey".

Blimey, didn't realise there'd be that many problems. I assumed it'd be like having a houseboat, only cooler.
