Search on the auto trader website for low mileage versions and you may come up with a bargain. I got my Nissan note with 5485 on the clock on a 62 plate last year for 6200. Was immaculate, ex motability, perfectly maintained.

Have seen other makes/models similarly priced.

Nothing wrong with a Zafira. Practical family car. Got the 1.8SRI version. Wife mainly drives it but it is comfortable to drive for long distances. 7 years old and we've had it for 6 of those with no problems other than the recall for suspect heating system (even though ours didn't show the symptoms of the cars that did ignite!!).

We have a Zafira and its a great workhorse as we have young twins to cart around. I would advise you be aware of some key issues. The gearboxes are notoriously notchy so don't expect butter like shifting. Obviously make sure its had the recall work done on the heating that caused a few to catch fire. Most are seriously underpowered when fully loaded so don't expect any real poke or pulling away quick at junctions.
