There will be details on a new 10 per cent cashback scheme for STHs on all purchases (including kiosks and hospitality) provided you use your smartcard. Full details will come with the smartcard when it is posted out, but this replaces the 10 per cent discount.

Yes, as long as you use your smartcard. That's why it says "ALL purchases"

How do you charge up the card in the first place? I hope this can be done on using a website or some sort of auto top-up if the credit drops too low.

Can be "charged up" online and at stadium (maybe even on the phone?).
I very much doubt it will have "auto topup".

Those who have received the card - is there anythnig on this in there? To get 10% off the new home shirt do you have to actually put money on the smart card then use the smartcard itself to actually pay for the shirt? Or can u use cash and just have the smart card with you for the discount?

I think discount only applies in store as could not find an option when ordering online

Cashback replaces the 10% discount. You have to pay with the card.

On the letter it advises for online merchandise products also.
But going from what it says in the ask the club section, no one will be able to top up their cards until the Spurs game.....which is ashame as I imagine a fair few people will want to buy the shirt tomorrow (at a discounted rate)

At the risk of repeating myself there is no mention of a discount. The discount has been replaced with cash back. Or have I missed something?

No you're good! Just to confirm the cash back goes back onto your card I assume? So in theory it is a 10% discount? Apologies if i'm being thick.

Spend £100 and you get £10 cash back. That's quite easy over a course of a season with the food and booze outlets.
