That Spy Satellite that is due to crash next month will be viewable from Brighton tonight at 18:54:29

It starts in the south and only last about 35secs. It'll be quite low in the sky.

Of course, next month we might be treated to a much closer encounter.

Apologies in advance if this turns out to be a complete astro BINFEST

Nay nay, let it be Falmer, save us from having to dig the hole :)

Exactly HOW low in the sky?

Well if it starts off as a tiny dot and gradually gets bigger and bigger until it fills your entire field of vision it might be time to go indoors.

Not Falmer please, apparently there is a chance that it will release some poisonous gasses when it crashes, the last thing we need is for the site of our new ground to be declared a no-go area.

Well. I didn't see it.

I'm afraid it was quite pants.

It was low in the sky (about 10 degrees) and was only faintly visible for about 15 secs at the most.

Thats the problem with these foriegn satellites. What we need is a TRIED & TESTED english satellite to provide better viewing

tbh, probably not worth the frost bite

Maybe the last chance to see it at 18:40 (moving south-west to east) tonight as the Americans are going to try to shoot it down with a missile fired from a battleship.

I reckon they'll miss
